My silkscreens combine three art making processes: drawing, photography, and printmaking. I photograph my large drawings, placed in an outdoor location, tacked to a drawing board. This photo is enlarged and made into a transparency. I then "burn" a screen (using the photographic silkscreen process) and print in a limited edition, using a very limited palate. The results are striking - and surprising - in relation to the original drawings."
